2Q finished

Finally 2nd quarter finished. It remains only one more quarter. It's quite soon.  

Next quarter,  I wanna focus on study more.  

 It was surprising that Canadian classmate praised our work. 

Thanks to the help of my bf, my presentation is getting better!

I began couchsurfing seriously. I think I found a person in Portland. 

It's gonna be exciting.  

Actually OPT is very near and I might be out of San Diego soon. 

Well not so soon.

Japanese tea ceremony

Today I studied how to explain following Japanese tea ceremony equipment. Chasaji is a tea scoop made of bamboo. They are used to scoop tea from the tea caddy into the tea bowl.  Chasen is a tea whisk   carved from a single piece of bamboo. It is  used to mix the powdered tea with the hot water.  Chawan is a t ea bowl . It is turned 2  times before drinking to appreciate the beauty of tea bowl from every perspective and also as a sign of modesty not drink from the side of most beautiful front of bowl. Dango  is a Japanese dumpling and sweets made from mochiko (rice flour). Natsume is a  tea caddy . The small lidded container in which the powdered tea is placed for use in the tea-making procedure. Nodategasa is  a umbrella made of paper and bamboo for out-door tea ceremony.　They  are distinguished from western umbrellas by their large number of ribs and their straight rather than rounded shape.
