カリフォルニア運転テスト DMV behind the wheel test
今日は運転テストを受けました。なんと日本ではペーパーだったのに一発合格です！！！
運転講習も６時間受けといてよかった。学校はここ Golden State Driving School
最初はパーミットがなくて門前払いされたけど筆記試験受けてパーミットを取得してからの先生はブラジル出身のタニア。とてもいい人でした。
試験の流れがわかるし試験でチェックされるところ教えてくれます。先生に言われてたことと同じこと試験管に指摘されました。
DMVへの試験予約も電話でいれてくれて親切。受けるときは８時台の早朝がベスト。
でも最初にDMV前の列に並んでいた時にこれに記入しろだの、I-94をもってこいだの言われて慌てて家に帰ってI-94持ってきたのに筆記試験と間違われていたみたいで「何でこれに記入してるの」と言われ、また慌てて運転テストの窓口30へ。前に並ぶ必要もなかったのね。。。
本当にDMVのスタッフはちょっといい加減です。でも一発で合格して本当によかった。一か月ずっとストレス気味でした。前日にYoutubeで試験模様を研究したのもよかった。交差点では思いっきり首を動かしてチェックしているのを強調するの。
昨日はカロルとバスパーティーに参加する予定だったのになんとカロルが車のキーを車の中に忘れて鍵を閉めちゃって大変。。。でも近くにいた人に助けを求めるとなんと電話してカーサービスを呼んでくれたの。そこはとってもラッキーだったんだけど、バスパーティーには間に合わなかったわ。でもまた参加する機会はたくさんあるから大丈夫。カロルはキス事件で国にいる彼と喧嘩してストレス気味みたい。でも本当にトラブルメーカーだわ。。。。
Today I passed DMV behind the wheel test! I made as many as 10 minor mistakes but I passed on my first try. That was awesome, coz I was feeling nervous for a month! But I must've been lucky because my examiner was nice Asian guy who explained me in simple loud English! Thanks!!
But DMV staff was again misleading. When I was in line in the morning, I was told to fill in a form and get I-94, so I run to my home to pick up I-94. When I submitted the form, I was told why you were filling this form. OMG.
Anyway, since my driving teacher kindly reserved my test in the early morning, there was not so long line and traffic was ok.
In the night, I try to celebrate with my friend at bus party to downtown. But another accident happened! She locked her car with a key inside.....So we were not able to make bus departure time at all.
Fortunately, we were able to find a kind guy who called car service to open the door.
She must be very stressed out with all the incidents happened with her bf.
Thanks note for today....
1. I was able to pass the driving test which streesed me out for a month and I was able to have nice examiner, which must be really lucky at DMV.
2. Although I was not able to join bus party, I somehow saved money, so it's ok.
